Develop impactful online campaigns at Blast Radius

Abstract: 

Blast Radius (http://www.blastradius.com/) is looking for people who are outstanding communicators, who want to become effective at developing unique, market defining solutions for our global clients.

Blast Radius Interns are primed for developing real-world experience in the fast developing world of integrated digital media. They have the opportunity to apply theories and ideas to solving real business issues, and contributing to the development of client and thought-leadership projects.

You will develop a strong strategic understanding of business, brand and consumer needs, and translate research into key insights that result in exceptional marketing strategies and integrated digital media user experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in developing impactful online campaigns and will have a passion for digital and social media. You will work with leaders in their discipline, and demonstrate the learning and growth potential in yourself.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in developing integrated media brand strategies focused on consumer insights, cultural research and industry trends

  • Provide assistance in developing integrated media tactics across all digital channels (web, mobile, social media)

  • Develop ‘point of view’ documents and presentations on current and relevant subjects using research, data and statistics (e.g., digital user behaviors, digital case studies, consumer insight application)

  • Contribute to internal brainstorm meetings, presenting creative ideas and solutions with internal teams, business clients and external vendors

  • Opportunities to participate in new business pitches

  • Opportunities to attend industry events and interact with industry leaders

 

CAPABILITIES:

  • Passion for, and use of, digital and social media on multiple platforms

  • Keen understanding and interest in integrated digital media, advertising, branding and marketing

  • Curiosity and enjoyment for research and discovery of what makes an exceptional consumer experience that delivers business results

  • Enthusiasm for analytical and creative problem solving

  • Superb interpersonal and communication skills; ability to professionally and confidently interact with individuals at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to pitch in and contribute to fast paced team

  • Comfortable collaborating with multiple groups to accomplish tasks and projects

  • Proactive and the able to work independently

  • Possession of excellent organizational, time management, follow-up, and follow through skills

  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Demonstrate how you are an active participant in the digital space by sending links from your digital footprint that you are proud to display to demonstrate your passions and capabilities (e.g., personal website, Tumblr, LinkedIn, Twitter etc)
