In deze tweede editie van het online magazine, richten we ons op de rol die nieuwe media spelen in de digitale visuele cultuur. We hebben bewust voor dit brede thema gekozen, onder andere om een diversiteit aan onderwerpen te kunnen aansnijden. De artikelen weerspiegelen de reikwijdte van de masteropleiding, en geven inzicht in de dominante opvattingen in het digitaal visuele discours.

I studied art history, history and gender studies at Vienna and Utrecht. In 2002 I started working in the New Media Group of the Department for Media&Culture Studies, since 2009 I have been coordinator of the MA New Media&Digital Culture programme.
